In Prague, a project with 230 apartments has been completed on the banks of the Vltava

Prague - A residential complex River Diamond has been completed on the Rohanské nábřeží by the Vltava River, which was under construction for two years. The building is part of the so-called modern Karlín. New owners have already started moving into the apartments, with 80 percent of the apartments sold. Riverbank Development informed ČTK about this in a press release.
    New apartments will also be completed this year in the Novodvorská area in Prague 4, where Sekyra Group is constructing. The same company is finishing the construction of seven family houses in Modřany and further projects in Vinohrady and Malešice. The largest construction company in the domestic market, Skanska CZ, for example, will complete the construction of 237 apartments and 31 row houses in Prague - Uhříněves this summer.
    Last year, builders in Prague started the construction of 7,901 apartments, which is approximately 2.8 percent less than in 2005. In the entire Czech Republic, the number of commenced constructions increased by 8.3 percent. The number of completed apartments in the capital decreased year-on-year by 1,378 to 5,186 apartments.
    River Diamond offers 230 high-standard apartments. The smallest apartment has 30 square meters, while the largest one has up to 350 square meters. The project was designed by the studio Šafer Hájek Architekti.
    The apartments feature spacious terraces and balconies with views of the river and the city, and the interiors are designed by the studio Mimolimit. The complex also includes a garden courtyard in Japanese style. Stores are located along the outer perimeter of the block. The pedestrian zone around the building includes landscaping that stems from the concept of the garden arrangement of the entire River City complex.
    Future developments in this area on the banks of the Vltava, named River Gardens, will have a residential character. This will be complemented by buildings with administrative functions along Rohanské nábřeží. The construction of the entire area, which represents approximately 130,000 square meters of above-ground gross space for nearly five billion crowns, is planned by the developer to be realized within five to ten years.
