Pardubice - The investor of the logistics center Zelená louka continues to build illegally. Some time ago, they finished the construction of the warehouse, but they have now started to expand the road. By next Tuesday, the investor must restore the municipal land on which the road stands to its original condition. This was stated to journalists today by Deputy Mayor Alexandr Krejčíř.
"By starting (the investor) another illegal construction, an agreement was violated, we want to defend ourselves because we can no longer accept this," said Krejčíř.
The company D+D Park Pardubice applied for an additional building permit at a time when it had nearly completed one hall. To obtain the permit, it can no longer build; a condition is also complete documentation, which it has not yet submitted.
"It is an absurd procedure, we do not understand it; when we found out, we were unpleasantly surprised. Moreover, the switch contradicts the norms, it is a dangerous place, and the project has not even been submitted," said Mayor Jaroslav Deml.
The company's director Petr Dědek is surprised that the city administration is angry. According to him, he obtained the city's permission to expand local communications even before the completion of construction work, which the city hall considers a purposeful excuse.
"To build the switches, it is necessary to use municipal land for approximately one month so that we can make the adjustments to the road. After the construction is completed, the land will be restored to its original state at our expense. The land will then continue to belong to the city, and the improved road will serve everyone," said Dědek.
The company D+D Park Pardubice ceremoniously started construction last September, and as late as June, when the building authority repeatedly urged it to stop work, it did not have a building permit. It now has until around the end of the year to complete all the necessary requirements for the additional building permit.
The giant logistics center is being built on a former ash dump in the Semtín area. The area is expected to cover four hectares, and the entire construction should cost around 800 million crowns. One of five should serve the company DB Schenker, which ordered the entire investment.
