In the upcoming year, the jubilee fiftieth issue of the architectural magazine Era 21 will be released. Given that each issue is closely thematically focused, it is surprising how many different angles architecture can be viewed from. In 2009, you can look forward to an analysis of the current state of panel housing estates, we will focus on the topic of public space control, and on politics in architecture. We will traditionally visit our neighboring countries, this time to Austria. As part of our accompanying events, alongside regular architectural walks with authors, there will be a special lecture and discussion tour in March related to the recently published issue on Hungarian architecture. There will be more similar events, and you will find more detailed information throughout the year on the Era 21 website, which we are also preparing to redesign.
As part of organizational changes, the publisher of the magazine - ERA21 s.r.o. - has newly partnered with other collaborators to combine forces in the book processing of some more complex topics, so you can again look forward to interesting book premiums. Currently, a publication on solar architecture is in preparation and more will follow.
