School - pyramid by Erick van Egeraat was opened

Rotterdam, January 18 - /EEA/ Erick van Egeraat associated architects has completed a new building for Metzo College in Doetinchem, Netherlands. The EEA design allows the client's innovative focus on vacation education. The compact shape and internal flexibility lead to efficient use of space.
The character of the complex is defined by its pyramidal shape, a suspended roof garden, and an atrium. The roof garden offers privacy, tranquility for contemplation, and relaxation. The patio beneath the greenery is a place of hustle and bustle, enabling everyone to see and be seen. Together, they form the social heart of the house.
The open layout with only a few walls stems from the institution's philosophy - openness and transparency. Most of the spaces are multifunctional and ready for changes based on the current needs of the school.
