Prague

Prague - Rental prices for office space are rising in most markets around the world, especially in Asia. The most expensive location remains the West End in London, where companies pay almost 138 euros (approximately 3900 CZK) per square meter per month, including taxes and service fees for office rental. Prague ranked 71st with a price of 23.90 euros, which is roughly 680 CZK. This was reported by the news agency ČTK citing CB Richard Ellis, which included 173 cities worldwide in the overview.

The second position belongs to Tokyo in the Inner Central Five Wards, where 96.40 euros is paid per square meter per month. The third place again goes to London, the City area with a price of 94.50 euros. The fourth place is once again Tokyo with the Outer Central area, where 87.40 euros is paid per square meter. Hong Kong closes the top five most expensive office locations with a price of 75.40 euros per square meter.
Prague is positioned between Downtown Manhattan in New York, where rental costs reached 23.90 euros per square meter per month, and Miami center with a price of 23.50 euros per square meter per month.
Of the 173 monitored markets, rental prices increased in 119 last year and decreased in 24 markets. Rental prices rose rapidly, for example, in India and China. In the Indian commercial metropolis of Mumbai in the Nariman Point area, office rental costs increased by 69 percent, the largest increase among the monitored locations.
In Central and Eastern Europe, rental costs have remained relatively stable since last August. However, rising prices in the Asian market pushed most Central European markets down the rankings. This applies not only to Prague but also to Bratislava, Budapest, Sofia, and Warsaw. Conversely, in Bucharest and Moscow, costs increased. Moscow is also the only market from Central and Eastern Europe to feature in the top fifty most expensive locations, where it holds sixth place.
Despite the increase in office rental costs in many markets in North America, only four areas - Manhattan (Midtown), Washington D.C., Toronto, and Calgary - made it to the top fifty. Rent in Manhattan remains the most expensive in the USA, at 40.90 euros per square meter per month.
