The book "wave 68 - 84" offers an overview of the emerging Slovak architectural generation born, as the title suggests, between the years 1968 and 1984. The editor and publisher of the Dutch magazine A10, Hans Ibelings, states in his introductory text to the book: “If we wanted to name the Slovak generation in some way, then it is the striking preference for architecture as a measured adventure.” In the book, we can also find text contributions and essays by Imro Vašek, Ivan Gürtler, and Mária Topolčanská, as well as diagrams and schemes that accurately map young Slovak architecture. 42 architectural groups (some of which operate beyond the borders of Slovakia) and 108 projects and realizations on more than 200 pages is undoubtedly an interesting and important endeavor backed by architect Tomáš Žáček and art historian Katarína Trnovská.
