This year we commemorate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Bohuslav Fuchs, one of the architects whose buildings we can admire at almost every turn in the Moravian metropolis. The exhibition organized in the foyer of the Moravian Library at Kounicova Street 65a in Brno will take place from June 1 to June 30, 2015, and will showcase both photographs from the family album and numerous images of Brno's buildings. Throughout the month, it will be complemented by prepared lectures by Jan Sapák and Ladislava Horňáková.
The lecture by architect Jan Sapák "Bohuslav Fuchs - the most influential creator of public space in Brno. Urban planner, architect, inspirer, and teacher" will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at 6:00 PM in the conference hall of the MZK.
The lecture by PhDr. Blanka Petráková "Architect Bohuslav Fuchs in Zlín and Luhačovice" will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 5:00 PM in the video conferencing room on the 4th floor of the MZK.
