public competition and project exhibition
The subject of the competition is any type of reclamation project for mining surface areas that has already started, is currently in progress, or has been completed.
The goal of the competition is to present the best reclamation projects carried out in the Czech Republic to both the professional and general public, thus changing the negative perception of the mining industry.
The best submitted projects will be presented at the 1st International Conference on Mining and the Environment in Central Europe, which will take place under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and the European mining industry association Euromines. The results of the competition will also be published in a catalog that will present all submitted works, except those explicitly rejected by the jury.
