Castle Garden in Nové Dvory

The subject of the competition is a historically valuable area between the castle and the site of the Dominican monastery with the Church of St. Anne in Nové Dvory. The aim of the competition is to sensitively connect the heritage, landscaping, and compositional values of the site with the current needs of the community. The competition is intended for architects, landscape architects, and interdisciplinary teams with experience in designing public spaces, landscape modifications, and places with cultural and historical value. The decisions on the proposals will be made by an expert jury: the independent part of the jury consists of Ing. Zdeněk Novák, Ing. Martina Forejtová, Ing. Daniel Matějka, Ing. arch. Ondřej Tuček, and Ing. arch. Petr Všetečka, while the dependent part of the jury comprises Ing. Lenka Najjar and PhDr. Pavel Douša, Ph.D. A total of 1,200,000 CZK has been allocated for prizes and awards in the competition.
