The town of Kežmarok announces a public anonymous single-stage architectural competition for a new cultural center. It will be located in the area of the original high school dormitory, which the town will acquire from the Prešov region. The addressed area is situated on the edge of the historical center, touching upon a trio of churches and in close proximity to the heavily trafficked Jakub Kray street.

The organizer's expectation is to obtain the future form of the area and the building, or rather the complex of buildings, which will include at least:
- an attractive central public space with a large proportion of greenery and outdoor elements
- a cultural-social hall for events with a capacity of 450 people/event with row seating
- a multifunctional variable space with a capacity of 150 people/event with row seating
- smaller community spaces for local organizations and associations
- space for a municipal library
- commercial and multifunctional spaces for rent
- parking capacities for the needs of the building as well as visitors to the town, primarily in an underground garage, with a capacity of at least 200 spaces
