Labics

Labics is an architectural and urban planning office based in Rome, founded in 2002 by Maria Claudia Clemente and Francesco Isidori. The name “Labics” expresses the idea of a laboratory, a testing ground for advanced problem-solving methods. By combining theoretical approaches with applied research, the studio’s work ranges from interiors to extensive territorial plans. The workshop engages with various scales and complexities of projects. Labics has developed a wide range of projects with a strong focus on the contemporary city, particularly on the relationship between architecture, urban structure, and public space.
