1999 - as part of the Erasmus exchange program, completed an internship at the Faculty of Architecture RWTH in Aachen
2000 - graduated in architecture from the university in Lisbon
2000 - worked at the Rotterdam office of OMA
2000-03 - worked in the Basel studio of Herzog & de Meuron
2003 - co-founded the studio extrastudio with João Costa Ribeiro
2004-06 - served as an assistant at Universidade Independente in Lisbon
