Biography
From 1955 to 1961, he attended the École d'ingénieurs de Genève and then the École d'architecture at the University of Geneva. In 1959, he graduated from the École d'ingénieurs de Genève (École supérieure technique). He worked in Geneva as an architect in the "Addor et Julliard Architectes" and "A. et F. Gaillard Architectes" firms, then joined the "D. Gampert et J. Hacin" studio and subsequently "J. Hacin." In 1969, he also established his own architectural studio in Geneva. Since 1977, he has been a member of the Federation of Swiss Architects and the Society of Engineers and Architects. In 1987, he was awarded the Gottfried Semper Prize for Urbanism, which is granted by the Geisendorf Foundation in Zurich.
