BiographyJan Henrik Jansen was born and raised in Germany. As an exchange student, he visited Denmark. He began studying architecture at Leibniz University in Hanover and obtained his master's degree at Aarhus University. He taught at schools in Lübeck and Copenhagen. Between 2002-2016, he built three experimental pavilions on the Danish island of Møn: Langelinie, Black+Bright, and Birkedal. He currently works and lives in Copenhagen with his Danish partner and two children.
