Applications for participation are submitted electronically to the email address letiste@arch-souteze.cz. The deadline for submitting applications begins to run from the announcement date and ends on September 14, 2018, at 6:00 PM. The portfolio must include at least 2 buildings (of which 1 has a value of 100 million CZK excluding VAT).
The subject of the competition will be the preparation of an architectural design for parking buildings, which will include a designed bus terminal for public bus transport and charter bus transport in the ground floor. An integral part will also be the design of a Skywalk in the axis of Aviatická Street and the design of the public space "Plaza" between Terminal 2 and the new parking buildings and their immediate surroundings. We expect the integration of the parking buildings with the bus terminals and Skywalk into the airport structure, their active incorporation into the public space, and the cultivation of the surroundings. The space of the Plaza, its solution, furnishings, etc. will be considered as a basis for solving further public spaces in the Václav Havel Airport area.
The design of the buildings and the surroundings should ensure overall unity of the final space with an emphasis on high-quality solutions corresponding to the significance of the largest international airport in the Czech Republic, which serves as the gateway for millions of visitors to the Czech Republic, both functionally and architecturally.

Reimbursements for expenses related to participation in the competition will be provided in the form of sketches to all participants. All participants who submit a competition proposal and meet these competition conditions will receive sketches worth 400,000 CZK for each participant, within 14 days after the jury's evaluative meeting.
