The hosting lecture by Professor Michael Arbib, who has progressed from mathematics, through algorithms, artificial intelligence, and neuroscience to architecture. A significant mathematician, neurologist, and psychologist of the present day, Michael Arbib, founder of the Academy of Neurosciences for Architecture at the University of Southern California in San Diego, will deliver a lecture titled “Architecture, Narrative, and Space-Time of Action” in the auditorium of the Technical University of Liberec, on the occasion of the publication of his groundbreaking work “Brains meet Buildings”, Oxford University Press, 2021. The lecture will introduce new approaches important for today's understanding of architecture in the context of interdisciplinary, scientific, and humanities studies through a presentation of significant works of contemporary architecture.
