Exhibition Opening ...better architecture, better life The Museum of Romani Culture has long sought to expand its activities in the area of Prague in order to present and build upon the many years of expert and cultural work of the museum. With this idea, the project Center for Roma and Sinti in Prague was created. In 2019, the Museum of Romani Culture received management of a building that serves as the center's headquarters. Specifically, it is a functionalist villa located at Velvarská Street No. 1 in Prague-Dejvice. It was commissioned by a businessman of Jewish descent, Ing. František Leo Perutz, according to the design of Ernst Mühlstein and Victor Fürth in 1937. The exhibition "...better architecture and life", authored by the historian of the Museum of Romani Culture, Petra Svobodová, focuses on the building of the villa, its architecture, history, and future plans.
