Popstar Tea Space is a space that connects work, creativity, and meetings. The main focus here is on absolute variability, material cleanliness, and play with colors and reflections.

The investor's requirement was to maximize the potential of a relatively small space. The brief defined three entirely different types of operations that must coexist here: podcast recording, a space for acoustic concerts and streams, and finally, a functional support area for coworking, including a furnished corner for refreshments, equipped with a coffee machine and a fridge. A smaller separate control room with an office and storage for equipment also had to be part of it.

The fundamental principle of the design became mobility and variability. The tables are equipped with wheels, and sliding panels are the centerpiece of the interior. These are custom-made from lightweight aluminum frames and colored plexiglass. It is the panels that create the most playful element of the entire design; thanks to them, the space and its atmosphere can be constantly transformed in countless ways according to current needs.

We wanted to create a clean, bright point at the end of the historical building - a metaphorical "heaven on earth." The space combines rawness with coziness and playfulness. The entire concept is based on three foundational materials. Stainless steel reflects light and activity in the room, visually enlarging the space and imparting a slightly technical, studio-like character. This impression is balanced by plywood, which warms up the interior and subtly alludes to the timelessness of the Tugendhat Villa in Brno through its use as wooden paneling. The third distinctive material is the mentioned colored plexiglass, which lends the interior color and the specific character of the Popstar Tea brand.
