INAIL new branch office

The new branch for INAIL (National Institute for Insurance against Workplace Accidents and Professional Illnesses) in Venice is constructed in two part. The payment office (1947-51) and the headquarter (1950-61). The first building preserves the street setup and creates a courtyard with different building hierarchy. The headquarter maintain the grid facade of the near existing Palazzo Adoldo, however, redefine the neighborhood alignment and the facade it is made of exposed concrete while the first building is hiding the structural facade with the Botticino marble.
