We believe that every house or apartment can offer unique details and exceptional small places, such as niches for flowers, a window bench with a beautiful view, a secret hideout, etc. All of this is for savoring the fleeting moments of various seasons, a summer breeze, or conversely, the view of gently falling snowflakes.
Such details should always be tailored to the specific place and its residents. In this project, we decided to enhance the beautiful view of Prague Castle with the owners' passion for onyx, which also serves as a memory of their travels in Italy.
It was a challenge to work with a specific stone, which we incorporated in the form of a moon motif above the bed in the master bedroom. The western evening sun shimmering through the layer of translucent green-yellow stone reminds everyone every evening that the moon will soon rise.
We perceive the moon motif as an element that evokes a very calm and harmonious atmosphere in the private part of the apartment.
The panoramic view from the window is perceived in contrast to the moon as a daytime element. Part of the project was to build on the developed floor plan concept, which we aimed to harmonize and unify with subtle inputs so that the entire apartment creates one harmonious whole.
All materials, from wooden floors to original tiles to individual pieces of furniture, were carefully discussed throughout the preparation of the project with both the owners and professionals from the future suppliers' side.
