The family house is located in the central part of the town of Michalovce. On the site of the current building, there was originally a family house from the 1960s. The parcel, due to its location and size within the existing development of family houses, met the investor's requirements for urban living in a family house.

The designed family house in the existing development, on a street with a height difference, takes advantage of the slope of the parcel. It is a two-story building with an inserted gallery in the living area of the building; despite the volume of the building, it does not appear robust from the street. The building consists of individual masses stacked on top of each other and interpenetrating cubes (masses) with clearly defined functions. The entrance mass of the house is positioned above the volume of the garage, and both masses smoothly transition into the primary volume of the ground floor with two recesses for terraces, encompassing the living area of the house, the technical background, vertical communication, and the parents' room with sanitary facilities. The secondary mass of the second floor, in a smaller volume, serves the function of the night zone of the house for children's rooms with a living roof terrace.

We perceive the object from the street line in three horizontal planes, which are materially differentiated. The house is presented in two primary surfaces, a white color that allows the mass of the house and the areas of façade brick to stand out. From a material perspective, the house is generously designed. The material concept continues into the interior, where we find wooden veneer, façade brick, exposed concrete, and numerous glass surfaces that allow views into the landscape and contact with the house's garden.
