The reconstruction of an entire floor from the original two for Alteryx was completed in 2020 – at the beginning of the global pandemic. Even then, the goal was to create an office that would not only be a functional working environment but also a place where people enjoy being. This turned out to be exceptionally foresighted – especially at a time when work habits drastically changed and most employees got used to working from home.
The office was designed with the idea of positive motivation: to make people look forward to coming in. Not just for work, but also to see colleagues, engage in informal meetings, share information, and enjoy time together. The interior offers, in addition to classic work zones, spaces for relaxation, entertainment, and communal dining – whether for breakfast, lunch, or company parties.
Our goal was not to create just another office. We focused on an environment that naturally supports human needs – both physical and psychological. We worked with natural materials, daylight, and carefully designed acoustics to ensure that every detail contributes to concentration, open communication, and comfort while working.
The result is a space that is lively, flexible, and organically adapts to the rhythm of the day and the dynamics of the team. It is not an office in the traditional sense, but an environment that gives work a new context – as a place where ideas are born, relationships are strengthened, and where it is a joy to be.
During the same period, new office spaces for Alteryx were also being created in Kyiv. From the outset, the project faced complications – the construction took place amid the peak of the coronavirus pandemic, which brought numerous restrictions, delays, and uncertainties. Despite these obstacles, we successfully completed and opened the offices.
Unfortunately, not long after their opening, the situation changed dramatically again – due to the outbreak of the war conflict in Ukraine, the company had to abandon the offices. The spaces that were meant to serve as a modern and inspiring working environment for the local team remained unused.
