Allhuset

víceúčelová studentská budova

Allhuset
Architect: Ralph Erskine
Address: Frescati University, Stockholm, Sweden
Completion:1979-81

The Allhuset, the Sodra huset, the Library and the Sportshall frame a campus containing some large old trees and two 19th century buildings. The Allhuset lying to the west functions is a meeting place for students, teachers and staff, and is distinguished by its wide canopy roof. To the east is the Library building linked directly to the Sodra huset, in the south, by an arched entrance hall.
The Student Union was the first of the new buildings to be designed in accordance with the new, freer plan for university expansion, which replaced the rigidly structuralist original. The building contains a restaurant and assembly rooms for the students. It was awarded the Kasper Salin Prize in 1981.
