The main symbols of our Alternative Car Park Tower project are the GREEN SNAKE, BASKET and SUNFLOWER. We return these symbols to architecture as a natural part of the language which speaks to us.
The Green Snake is guarding the Basket and Sunflower on the bank of Victoria Harbour in the Central of Hong Kong.
GREEN SNAKE - Chinese symbol of beauty, wisdom and patience

SUNFLOWER - Symbol of life energy
It is as simple as the OPERATION of the garages. Since the 1,000-meter Snake (ramp) is designed on the façade of the building, you can get to the very top of the building by easy driving on the dextrorotatory spiral in less than 3 minutes. On the top is the Sun Bar with a monumental view of the Sky line and Victoria Harbour, a multi-purpose space, and also the office of the Alternative Car Park Tower director. Service and public restrooms are located in the basement, easily accessible from the street.
The strong and airy SKELETON of the building is formed by a reinforced concrete truss structure attached to the façade and a central reinforced concrete tube that protects the vertical roadway. Slanting columns spike out of the tube, supporting individual ceilings. The building façade is formed by a massive teak weave of the Basket, which protects the internal area of the building against hot weather, wind and rain. As a natural product, the plantation teak wood is a brilliantly strong, friendly, sustainable and fully recyclable material. The climax of the whole structure on the top of the building is the connection of all vertical structures of the load-bearing skeleton and the surrounding Basket in a junction point designed in the shape of a Sunflower.

in the heart of Hong Kong

Hlavními symboly našeho projektu Alternative Car Park Tower jsou ZELENÝ HAD, KOŠ a SLUNEČNICE. Vracíme symboly architektuře jako přirozenou součást řeči, kterou k nám mluví.
ZELENÝ HAD čínský symbol krásy, moudrosti a trpělivosti.
KOŠ symbol propojenosti věcí
SLUNEČNICE symbol životní energie
Zelený Had hlídá Koš Slunečnice na břehu Victoria Harbour v Central of Hong Kong.
Je to jednoduché stejně jako PROVOZ garáží. Díky tomu, že je Had – rampa na fasádě domu o délce cca 1000m, lze se autem dostat na samotný vrchol klidnou jízdou po pravotočivé spirále za necelé 3 minuty. Na vrcholu s monumentálním výhledem na Sky line a Victoria Harbour je Sluneční bar, multifunkční prostor a i kancelář ředitele Alternative Car Park Tower. Servisní plochy a veřejné WC jsou naopak v suterénu, kde jsou snadno přístupné z ulice.
Pevnou a vzdušnou KOSTRU domu tvoří železobetonová příhradová konstrukce na fasádě a centrální železobetonový tubus chránící vertikální komunikaci. Z tubusu vyrůstají šikmé sloupy spolu podpírající jednotlivé stropy. Fasádu domu tvoří masivní teakový výplet Koše chránící vnitřní prostor domu před horkem, větrem a deštěm. Plantážové teakové dřevo je jako přírodní produkt vynikajícím pevným, přátelským, udržitelným a plně recyklovatelným materiálem. Vyvrcholením konstrukce na samé špici je spojení všech vertikálních konstrukcí nosné kostry i obepínajícího Koše ve styčníku v podobě Slunečnice.
